Celebrating our 26th Year
Welcome to the K3AE Wiki
The Southern Pennsylvania Communications Group (SPCG) was born April 1, 1984 and is based in Shrewsbury PA. Members include Amateur Radio Operators, family members, and friends from all over Southern PA and Northern Maryland. We are a family oriented club and have a long history of service to the local community.
Repeaters
We host the 146.700 repeater (- offset, tone 123.0). Watch for our brand new 440 machine to show up on 449.725 (- offset, tone 123). Feel free to join us on the air. For a look at repeater site, click here.
Meetings
Our meetings occur on the first Wednesday of every month at 7 PM. We meet at the Mason Dixon Restaurant in Market Square. Plan to arrive at 6 PM and join us for a nice dinner before the meeting.
We also get together informally every Saturday morning at the Mason Dixon Family Restaurant for breakfast. We arrive at 8 AM (or a little after for this who have a hard time waking on Saturday morning).
Feel free to join us at a meeting or breakfast.
VE Sessions
We host a VE Testing Session on the second Saturday of the EVEN numbered months. Held at the Shrewsbury Borough Municipal Building, we open the doors at 9:30 AM for registration with testing beginning at 10 AM.

Cool! I've heard people at work raving about wiki's, but I've never been on one! Now I am! Let's see if I can get into some trouble! :-)
Good start. How about some field day pix? Missed ya all this year - but I was thinking about you.
Good star to the site... Currently working on a wiki site myself, Come vist and see what ya think, www.kb3igh.wiki.zoho.com
If you are seeking members you should have some page content to link to membership form and dues info.
Back on the wiki! What have I been up to lately you ask? Hmmm... UHF contest, VHF contest, portable operation from the Wright memorial in Kitty Hawk (tried to anyway before the T-storm came) QRP rig building, transverter building, and trying to clean out my basement. jeez... Time to get another dumpster. May be I can use it as a ground plane for a HF antenna? :-) ... KM3G
