Notable Rule Changes

There are some important rule changes for 2008. 

• The bonus for demonstration modes has been eliminated in favor of an "educational activity" bonus.  This educational activity must be an organized activity to teach field day participants a new mode, techique, tool, skill or something else related to amateur radio.
• The GOTA station is now allowed to operate on any Field Day band and is now open to any Amateur who received his or her license in 2008.
